With over 10 years of experience across Somalia, Kenya, and Canada, he has built a distinguished career in AML/CFT compliance, prudential regulation, financial supervision, and strategic advisory. His leadership experience includes senior roles at the Central Bank of Somalia, Juba Express, XPO Logistics, and Chase Bank Kenya, where he contributed to strengthening regulatory frameworks, internal controls, financial governance, and operational effectiveness. Backed by an MBA in Islamic Banking and Finance, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and advanced professional training in compliance and data analytics, he brings strong technical expertise, executive leadership, and a practical understanding of financial sector reform.
